Dosing' off {open}

It was a quiet morning. The flowers were coming in very nicely. The air was blowing very cool and brisk. There wasn't a lot to do in the Castle. The Heartless threat was down for all they know. There wasn't a need to fight. Everyone was taking this as a moment to sit back and relax.

No one more perfect to relax than captain of the Royal Knights, Goofy. He was by the entrance to the Gummi hanger. He was laying on the grass, not having a care in the world. He laid there, sleeping, unaware of his surrounding. He was sleeping because he couldn't find Donald and everyone else had there own matters to attend to.

Goofy didn't find anything else to do, and the best thing was to wait until someone asked for his help. And Goofy was always easy to find, since he was usually found sleeping in the same spot as always.

[Riku{Roxas}]

Slowly Riku was wondering around the castle, he was trying to find the king. Or even someone who would help him find the king, certainly he knew if he found Goofy or Donald they would help him. Or at least know were the king is right?

By the time he got to the court yard he had gotten a little sleepy.

Even though he was a little sleep from the walking he continued to search. Up ahead he saw someone, it was Goofy just lying there. No he was sleeping? Riku slowly approached the sleeping Goofy. He let out a small breath and then came to a stop.

"Hey Goofy, long time huh?" He said with a smile. Surly it was a long time since he saw Goofy. But he wondered why he was here? Then the thought crossed his mind. Maybe because Donald was not around?

Riku's words went into one of Goofy's ears and out the out. Goofy slowly woke up and saw Riku standing in front of him. Goofy let out a big yawn and opened his eyes to see Riku better, to confirm that it was him, since Goofy was always confusing people when he wakes up from a nap.

Goofy then let out a great big yell, "Riku!" Goofy quickly shot up from the ground and hugged Riku. It was a long time they had seen each other. "Its ggod to see you again. I've been great. Just here. And what about you? What have you been up to lately?"

[Riku{Roxas}]

Riku let out a small laugh as Goofy shot off the ground and started to hug him. "I have been searching for Sora and the King. I wanted to train with them." He let out a sigh of disappointment. "Thankfully i found you right?" Honestly Riku was happy he had found at least Goofy.

His head slowly started to look around the area. This world looked like a nice place to take nap. Well at least this court yard was. Riku knew he could not as Goofy to spar with him. Just because Goofy does not like to fight. Well he will fight unless any heartless and nobodies appear around the area.

But that was not going to happen.

[Kairi [Aerith]]

Kairi yawned as she stepped out of the Gummi Hanger. Her auburn locks were a tussled mess, and her azure eyes were bright from sleep. Maybe staying up so late had not been a good idea. Then again, it had been worth it. Kairi had stayed up late practicing, making sure to be quiet, though. No need to wake up her parents and have them question her. Her lips parted as she let out another yawn. Her azure eyes stared blankly out into the sky, vaguely remembering the other Gummi ship there. Was Riku of Sora here then?

Kairi's eyes widened, and she quickly ran her fingers through her hair, trying to make it like she had not stayed up most of the night. "What's the use. I'm a horrible liar, anyway," she murmured to herself with a giggle. She turned and looked onto the the green garden, her head tilting at the sight before her. Kairi felt her lips curl into a grin. Goofy and Riku were both here! She quickly made her way out of the Hangar, heading towards her two friends.

"Riku, Goofy!" Kairi called out as she jogged towards them. Her hand was raised in the air, giving them a tired wave. She stopped before them, hands on her knees as she regained her breath. Being tired had it's drawbacks. "Good to see you, Goofy!" Kairi replied, regaining her breath. She stood up straight, and smiled brightly at them both. This was something nice to wake up to.

[[OOC: Sorry for the confusing post. I thought it had said Destiny Islands, not Disney Castle. I'm half asleep. xD;;]]

Goofy noticed Kairi coming over toward the both of them. "Oh! Good mornin' Kairi!" Goofy was happy to see Kairi as well as Riku. It had been awhile since there were any visitors in the castle. "Its good to see you again." Goofy was still a little drowzy from the nap. He was wobbing a little.

"I was just taking a qiuck nap since no one need me right now. Everyone was doing there own thing so I thought why not do what I do best and nap here. Besides, its so nice and peaceful right now. I just couldn't let this chance go by." Goofy started to shake off the nap since he was talking with some friends he rarely sees.

"What have you been up to, Kairi?"

[Riku{Roxas}]

Riku herd a girls voice, it was not just some girl. This girl was Kairi, one of his best friends. Slowly he turned around and it was her in the flesh. He had not seen her since they had to beat Xemnas, which was like a year ago maybe? Most likely it was less since Riku did not care about the time.

One thing is for sure the both of them did not change one bit.

"So Kairi have you found Sora yet?" For some reason Sora was always very difficult to find. There may be a lot of worlds out there but Sora would be easy to find. Just due to his goofiness, and he was a keyblade wielder.

A small smile appeared on his face as he remembered some old memories on the island. They went through his mind very quickly, when he snapped out of it he noticed he was still in the kings castle. Slowly he looked up for some reason.

[Kairi [Aerith]]

Kairi grinned at Goofy, glad to see him doing well. "You're not the only one tired," she replied. As if on cue, her lips parted in a yawn. Her hand rose quickly to cover her mouth, trying to hide the fact that she was tired. At least she had made it to Disney Castle in one piece. Kairi rubbed her eyes and choked back another yawn. She removed her hand from her face, and clasped both of them together. "It's really beautiful here." She admired the lovely sight of the castle.

Kairi glanced over to Riku, and she shook her head. "Sorry, I haven't seen him in awhile." She wondered where the brunette had went. Both Riku and Sora had disappeared after she had given them King Mikcey's not. She felt left behind again. Her azure eyes suddenly narrowed, and she lifted her hand.

Kairi placed her index finger upon Riku's chest, poking him with an indignant pout. "You left me behind again. I thought we discussed this, Riku. Where ever you or Sora go, I go," she replied tersely. Kairi removed her hand, and instead crossed her arms over her chest. Yes, she would throw a small tantrum in front of Goofy. It was Riku's thought after all. Her lips twitched slightly at the thought.

Goofy looked a liitle worried because Riku would be in for it. "Now now Kairi. You don't have to get mad at Riku. It wasn't his fault.. I know what would make you feel better!" Goofy said out loud since it was a very good idea.

"Your probaly mad because your tired. You should take a nap here. It feels so good. Like that everyone is happy." Goofy smiled and closed his eyes and tried to hold in his laugh. To Goofy, it was a funny moment because Sora and Riku would normally get in trouble by Kairi and today was no different.

No one would know what Kairi would do next to poor Sora and Riku. But it was always funny to watch.

[Riku{Roxas}]

In seconds Kairi turned to him and put her index finger on his chest. Slowly his eyes looked at her index finger, Kairi now seemed a little angry. "We just did not want you to get hurt." In fact it was true he and Sora did promise her that they would take her with them. Obviously that failed.

Riku took one step back, now Kairi's index finger was not on his chest anymore. Goofy then said that she was probably angry because she did not get enough sleep. "You know Goofy has a point. People get grouchy when they don't have enough sleep." Riku started to wonder if the Corner stone was alright.

Last he herd about it Sora had fixed the Corner stone of light with Goofy and Donald. It had something to do with a fat cat and the witch. Riku shrugged the thought off and looked over to Kairi.

[Kairi [Aerith]]

Kairi looked to Goofy with a grin. She could hardly hold her anger with him there. Goofy really did make it hard for anyone to stay mad for long. She watched with a giggle as Goofy tried to hold back his laugh. "A nap does sound rather nice," she murmured with a yawn. She lifted her hand, rubbing her eyes once again. Kairi inclined her head towards Riku, and her smile softened. "I can take care of myself, Riku."

Kairi felt her anger bristle again at Riku's next comment. Her azure eyes narrowed, and she glared at Riku. A glare that often made Sora and Riku cringe in fear. "I am not grouchy, Riku! Of anyone, you're the one who's always moody," she said indignantly. Kairi spun around, showing Riku her back. How he irked her at times.

Kairi walked away from Riku, instead standing beside Goofy. Her arms were crossed over her chest, and she gave Riku one last glare before looking to Goofy with a grin. "How have you been, Goofy? I haven't seen you in awhile," she asked. Kairi was mostly likely over reacting, but it was always fun to make Riku stumble over apologies.

Goofy saw Kairi switch sides. "Oh, I've been great! I've just been here though. I can't seem to find Donald or the King. And the Queen is doing something so there is really no one I can talk too. But now that you and Riku are here, I feel even better." Goofy smiled at the both of them.

The thought of the Heartless came into Goofy's mind. "Gawrsh! I just remembered. Wheres Sora? Shouldn't he be protecting the World Boarder? Cause of the Heartless."

Goofy looked at Riku one more time. Even though he and Kairi get into a lot fights, they never really mean anything. There only playing around, which was nice to see that kind of friendship. It kind of reminded Goofy of the friendship he has with Donald. It was always a good thing to play around since it can get one's mind off of a bad subject.

[Riku{Roxas}]

After Riku herd Kairi say he was the one always moody. "I don't know what your talking about." Slowly Riku turned around, he was trying to find the door. That door would lead him up stairs, he knew he went through it to get here. Due to all the bushes he could not find it anywhere.

So now he just slowly started to walk in the direction he thought the door was. Slowly he started to drift farther and farther away from the two. For now Riku wanted to get to the corner stone of light. He knew there the other door was. It was the door to the past, he was trying to remember.

Why would he want to go there? One reason, it was to see maybe if Sora was there? Knowing Sora he would get trapped somewhere very easily.

[Kairi [Aerith]]

Kairi listened to Goofy with a smile. It seemed even the King and Queen were busy. She reached out and patted Goofy on the shoulder with a grin. "Well, you can hang out with us for the day, Goofy. I wouldn't want you to be all by yourself!" Kairi said cheerfully. She would enjoy hanging out with the Royal Guard. She turned back to Riku, looking to him with a quirked brow. He seemed to be thinking about something else. Then again, when was he not? Riku was always brooding.

"Sora?" Kairi looked back to Goofy with a blank expression. "I have no idea," she said with a sigh. He was always wandering off somewhere, just like someone else she knew. Her azure orbs glanced back to Riku, and she watched as he began to walk further away. "If you're looking for the Cornerstone, why not ask someone who knows where it is?" Kairi asked, while pointing to Goofy.

Kairi had always had a knack for knowing what was on Sora's or Riku's mind. An innocent smiled crossed her lips before she turned back to Goofy. "Do you know where the Cornerstone is? Riku will probably get himself lost if we don't help," Kairi said with a laugh. Her eyes sparkled mischievously, and she stuck her tongue out at the brooding teen.

Goofy looked at Kairi. "Gawrsh, thank you Kairi. Thanks for your kindness. And I can show you to the Cornerstone. I'll be more than happy to."Goofy started to up down the pathway from the house castle in the center.

He walked about halfway, on the other side of the small grass castle. There was another pathway that lead to the door. Goofy turned to look at Kairi and Riku. He lifted his arm and waved toward them. Goofy shouted "Over here!"
