Personality: Kairi has as complex a personality as anyone else does. Her most noticeable trait is her stubborn streak. She is a red-head after all. She does not take no for an answer, and will do what she thinks is right. Kairi is a girl who follows her heart and does what she believes to be right. She will argue and stand her ground when someone tells her something she does not want to hear. She cannot stand to be left behind, and will follow Riku and Sora without a second glance back.

Another trait is her kind heart. Kairi is a sweet hearted person who is willing to put herself in danger for those she cares about. Whether it be from someone else or even themselves. She shows extreme concern for her friends when they feel down, and she always there as a support when needed. Her best way of cheering people up is her bright and optimistic attitude. Kairi is cheerful and outgoing, not afraid of new worlds or people. She is an adventurous girl who takes each day as a new journey to fulfill, whether it be saving the worlds or making sure Sora gets his homework done.

Kairi is also full of energy and seems to never tire. She enjoys a good sword fight just as much as Sora and Riku, though she is still new at it. She also enjoys teasing her friends every once in awhile, and loves to make people smile. Kairi is brave, loving, and full of life. She is not one you wish to anger, because her temper can be scary at times. She can have Sora and Riku cowering in fear at her sheer display of willful attitude.

Physical Appearance: Kairi's outfit can be described as unique and very pink. The main piece to her outfit is a pink sip up dress. There are three zippers on the front, the middle one zipped down slightly to show the shorter white dress Kairi wears beneath. Towards the bottom, the zipper is also zipped up wards slightly, to allow her more leg movement. The white dress she wears underneath has a black hood attached to it, hidden beneath her auburn hair. Across her waist is a black belt that that has two looped strands that fall and rest against her hips. Attached to this belt is a handy pouch that she keeps a couple of items, including her lucky charm. Kairi wears a pearl drop necklace that is attached to a black ribbon tied around her neck. Her shoes are lavender and white colored, with the shoelaces extending from the shoe and tying neatly into a bow around her ankles. On her left wrist she wears three bracelets: blue, black, and white.

Kairi herself is a very pretty girl. Being on Destiny Islands has done nothing to mar her pale complexion. Creamy colored skin, that is tinted the lightest of pink on her cheeks. Her hair reaches to her shoulder, and it an auburn color. It appears more red within the sun, but more brown when darker outside. Her hairstyle is layered slightly, with her bangs swept to the side, barely covering her bright blue eyes. Her eyes are perhaps the most noticeable thing about her. The same color as the ocean, they are as warm as the very sandy beaches she plays on.

Kairi's height is pretty average, around 160 centimeters. Her form is slender, and her legs are long. Body toned slightly from all the running around she used to do with Sora and Riku. Kairi is an athletic girl, and her slender form shows for it. How else is she able to keep up with the boys?

Equipment: Kairi keeps a side pouch on her dress for potions. It's always a good thing to keep something like that on one's self. As well as her Keyblade. Kairi has yet to name her keyblade, but it was given to her by Riku, and it known for it's floral pattern.

Combat Style: Kairi's fighting style has yet to be developed. Her style for now is novice-like at best. While she has some rudimentary skills from watching Sora and Riku battle, making her style slightly reckless, but able minded.

History: Kairi was not originally born on Destiny Islands. Her true home was Radiant Garden, but Xehanort had sent her to Destiny Islands as a test for the Princess of Heart. Sora found her one day washed up upon the beach, and when she awoke, all the memories she had of her previous home had vanished. Kairi considers Destiny Islands her true home, anyway. When she turned fourteen, Riku had come up with the idea to build a raft and to see the other worlds. The plan was under way, but the night of the day before they would take off, disaster stuck. The Island had been taken over by Heartless. Kairi had taken off towards the Islet to see what was happening when something happened.

Her heart had suddenly left her body when Sora had found her. Her heart had migrated into Sora, and her body was left into the darkness, only to be found by Riku later. As the two boys fought for a way to rescue her, she was left in a comatose state. Since her heart held no darkness, she was not turned into a Heartless. Kairi awoke within the castle of Hollow Bastion, when her heart had been restored to her. She awoke to find Sora turned into a Heartless, since he had sacrificed his own heart to return hers. Kairi soon returned Sora to human form. After the defeat of Ansem, Sora and Kairi part ways, while he leaves to search for Riku and she stays back on the reforming Destiny Islands. Both had made a promise to see each other once again. Kairi explores Destiny Islands and goes into the secret cove where many of the children had gone to draw. She soon found Sora's drawing and was overcome with happiness, and in return, she drew the shooting star back.

A year had passed, and Kairi slowly regained back the memories of Sora she had nearly lost. She could not remember his face or name, but as she was Sora's most important person, she was the only one who at least remembered there had been another boy. Later she would be kidnapped by Axel of Organization XIII as a means to control Sora and bring him to their world. She is helped by Pluto, and lands in Twilight Town. Soon after, she is really captured by Axel. Kairi is then taken by Saix and put inside a cell within the World that Never Was. She escapes the cell with the help of Namine, and is soon reunited with Sora and Riku. After wards, Kairi is completed when Namine gives up her existence to become whole with her.

Kairi soon returns to Destiny Islands with Sora and Riku once more. Things have gone back to normal, or so it seems. Kairi soon finds a mysterious letter addressed by the King, which leads to something looming over the horizon once more...
