Personality: Opposites attract as some may say, that is no different for Riku. He seems to associate himself with terribly caring and positive people, they never seem to be weighted down by anything, always waiting to see what the future has in store for them. However, he himself is someone who doesn't try to show distinct emotions, tries to keep things to himself rather than revealing them to the world.
He tries to act as a leader of sorts for the group, seeing to it that everything tries to run smoothly, that no one gets hurt. However, that sadly can never seem to work out fully, Sora usually receiving a tad more of the spotlight. Of course, Riku is noble, he doesn't quite need all the fame and glam that comes with being a hero.
Perhaps wanting to come across as the more alpha-male, Riku will constantly have competitions with his good friend Sora to see just who is better at differing subjects. They are rather pointless and have little meaning to them, but he seems to get a good kick from seeing his friend try to constantly beat him. Along with the competitions come teasing, the initial intent of this is not to bring Sora down, but to rather poke fun of him in a friendly manner.
An inner strength is something that he possesses, its what made him strive through the different times when there was no hope, trying to find what he truly wanted most. He has determination and can stick to a task no matter what, much like when he was trying to build the raft with Sora and Kairi.
Riku is a complicated person, no one can truly understand what he is thinking or what he will do next. Perhaps that's him himself, or something that he wishes to lead people to believe. He prefers to be mysterious and not be bothered when he has something of great importance to tend to.
Physical Appearance:
Riku is quite the mature teenager, he seems to have been able to mature quicker than his good friends Kairi and Sora, though perhaps his one year head-start on them has to do something about it. With his height hitting the higher portion of five feet it is safe to say that he is quite tall or someone his age. Over-all, had one not laid eyes on him since one or two years ago, they would find it somewhat challenging to fully recognize him from afar.
His face is a stone cold one, usually showing very little emotion, a dull look painted onto it. Mildly long hair rests against his back, messily cut, though tamed quite well it would seem. This haircut that he had so graciously given himself sprouts long bangs down the middle of his face, draping over his eyes. Given the normal colors of eyes (brown, blue, green, etc.) Riku's does not fir into that picture in the slightest. His eyes are a dull cyan colour it would seem, something that you wouldn't find amongst the average individual, then again, one with near-silver hair is a rare spotting as well.
Old habits seem to resurface, seeing as how Riku still bears his sleeveless top along with a long white armband, which he has been donning ever since he was but a child. Underneath his vest lies a double zipped, black collared muscle shirt. Near the bottom he seems to leave it unzipped slightly, as to show of his mid-stomach. His vest is mainly white, with the bottom and inside collar being a dim yellow (having two studs be placed there as well); along top the bottom yellow line runs a deep purple line. His vest remains undone at all times, though, the zipper hangs on the right side of the teeth, something that is not common for most zipped clothing.
Wearing his deep blue pants very loosely, Riku hoists his pants up with a large, black three row pyramid studded belt. He wears them on the second set of holes, the whole belt having a total of six. He often keeps the thumb of his free hand tucked inside of his left pocket, having both of his pockets lighter in colour, very deep and hanging inverted. His shoes (though half hidden from the bottom of his pant leggings) are light grey runners, complimented with three diagonal running pieces of plastic and yellow laces.
Equipment:
Once, Riku possessed a weapon called Soul Eater. He obtained it after he shifted sides to serve alongside Maleficent. Using her magic, she forged it out of the darkness that lied in his heart. When he conquered the darkness and only after he stowed away from it was when he returned bearing a new blade, a keblade, Way to the Dawn.
This keyblade is an ‘evolved’ Soul Eater, it is unsure of how exactly it went through a transformation or how it changed, but one thing that is for sure, is that it demonstrates his contant changing of alliances, alternating between dark and light, never truly finding a balance.
Lost Keyblade - It was the keyblade that he got from Ansem the seeker of darkness. It had a dark brown handle a unique blade style the color was black. Anda crystal in the center of the blade. here a image of it.

Combat Style: How does your character fight? Why do they fight like this? One paragraph at least.
Riku is a mid fighter, meaning he fights up front (close attacks) and ranged attacks. So his fighting style is a pretty unique one to say at that. Why he fights like that i am not sure. But he picked up that style of fighting when he was trying to take control of the darkness inside him.
History:
Riku grew up on Destiny Islands, alongside his good friend Sora. The two would commonly go on adventures and whatnot, being best of friends, there wasn't anything that could separate them. Even when they ventured into an unknown place to see if there was a monster they stuck by each other.
Of course, things couldn't always stay honky dory or unchanged. One day, there was a new girl in town, near the mayor's house. With Sora, they went to meet her, turned out to be a girl by the name of Kairi, one that they would soon become the best of friends with to make an unbreakable trio.
They lived a carefree life, not much struggle or temptation ever crossed their path, simply the perfect life. They had more friends; Tidus, Selphie and Wakka, but even then, at the root of it all, it was them. They always were being competitive with one another, Riku and Sora often getting into friendly tournaments and bets, Kairi playing along and being a referee or judge. But they were also a curious bunch, often going off on adventures to see what they could find on the islands.
The island soon became fully discovered though, they knew every nook and cranny (minus the door that they couldn't open) and they wanted something more. Kairi once said that she wasn't raised on the island, she came from elsewhere. That itself got the gears in Riku's mind spinning; if there were other worlds and not just the islands, there'd be a whole bunch more worlds out there.
Soon they began to work on a raft, gathering food, the works. They were going to find what was out there, they were sure of it. Within two days the raft was completed, they left it on the beach and went home for the night, knowing that they were going to set sail early the next morning.
Of course, there was a storm the night before sail, all three returning to the island to make sure it was alright. Riku went to the small island, looking up at the swirling void of darkness, watching it engulf the island slowly. He knew it meant a new gateway, it was their way of getting off the island, if he had to venture into the darkness, so be it, he wasn’t afraid. He was separated from Sora at that moment, though he knew that Kairi would come with them, he knew.
He wound up in a castle, located in Hallow Bastion. It was there that he crossed paths with Maleficent. She didn’t seem to be all that bad of a person, though Riku had his doubts about her. Using her manipulation of darkness, they searched through the worlds, trying to find Sora.
At a later date he ran into Sora at Traverse Town. It seemed that he had made new friends, and that was alright on Riku’s terms, just so long as he was still loyal to their old relationship. It seemed though, that he was more interested in the new friends that he had made and that keyblade of his... playing hero had gotten to his brain it seemed.
Wanting to find Kairi, he makes a deal with Maleficent, as long as he was able to save Kairi he would allow the darkness to venture into his heart. Using the power that it granted him, he found Kairi, noticing that she had lost a heart, he knew he’d have to help her find it, using the power of darkness, it was possible. Sora didn’t seem to be helping him any, and so with Maleficent, he left for Hallow Bastion.
Once more he came across Sora, this time at the gates of the castle. He had a deep feeling that he was the rightful wielder of the keyblade, that he deserved to wield it more than Sora did. He summoned it, took it away from Sora, leaving him with a wooden sword to fight with. Given their duties, Donald and Goofy followed Riku, knowing that they had to follow the key.
Later Sora reclaimed the blade, having his heart grow stronger over the brief period of time. Riku then fled, coming across a new hooded man, promising him that his heart would grow stronger if he opened his heart to darkness. It was then that he changed into a new, darker Riku, being possesed by Ansem, though he didn’t know it at the time being.
Using a new weapon, the dark keyblade, Riku unlocked Maleficent’s heart, having her change into a large dragon to deal with Sora’s little group. After she fell victim to Sora’s keyblade, reverting to the darkness, Riku had then figured out where Kairi’s heart was, it was inside of Sora all along.
Sora, using the dark keyblade, unlocked his heart, giving Kairi her heart, and with all seven princesses of heart in place (Alice, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmin, Snow White and Kairi) the dark keyhole opened. Riku then holds back Ansem, warning the others that the heartless are coming, giving them some time regroup.
Riku, though it was more of Ansem possessing his body, then ventured into the darkness, soon finding Kingdom Hearts. It was there that he believed true darkness lied. But alas, it was nothing more than light. Ansem was then dissipated in the light, never to be seen again.
Given the fact that his body was once again his, Riku appeared inside of Kingdom Hearts, reassuring Sora that he could finish the job. As they closed the grand doors to the area, Riku knew he’d be trapped in there, but he was fine with it. And with that, the doors closed, Riku leaving his last words with Sora.
“Take care of her”
Then he awoke in a fortress, it was Castle Oblivion. Riku fought his way through it, trying to overcome his connections he had with Ansem, knowing that he was no longer a part of him, trying to stay true to that.
It was there that he met DiZ, at the time, he was naught but a stranger, though over time he developed into a sort of ‘friend’ to Riku. He then came across a handful of cloaked men, all trying to supposedly deal with him so that the keybearer can be taken care of alone.
He then reached the near top of the basement, finding that his enemy to await him was none other than Ansem, the supposed part of him that he could never truly shake off. After he seiged battle against him, he entered a room, finding Naminé, a girl who was working with the men, trying to alter Sora’s memories for them.
Riku then confronted Roxas, trying to have him stray away from the Organization to reunited with Sora. After the confrontation, Riku disguised himself as Ansem to try and engulf himself in darkness itself.
He then helped DiZ tend to a data Twilight Town, trying to keep Roxas occupied while Sora recovered his memories that he had lost while in Castle Oblivion. Throughout Sora’s adventure, he leaves little hints here and there for both Sora and Roxas, trying to help them find each other and be prepared.
While bearing his Ansem form, he approached Kairi while she was hostage in the Organization’s hideout. He handed her a keyblade, having her help Sora in battle. After the battle, however, Sora and he reunited, and with Kairi’s help, Sora figured out that it’s Riku, friends together whence more.
After DiZ sacrificed himself for the greater good, Riku changes back to his original self, no longer bearing his cloak or blindfold. They then go after Xemnas, leader of Organization XIII.
The battle ended, light being victorious, but Sora and Riku being trapped within the darkness. They then sat on a dark beach, the one where Riku and Roxas first met, before they went into battle. A letter floated to the shore and Sora read it. It was one that Kairi had written, when she had forgetten their names, who they were, everything.
A light then opened up, and together, they went through. On the other end lied all their friends; King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, but most importantly, Kairi. They then were able to relax and live their lives the way they were before the incident. Together.

Riku's Abilities:
1.Dark Firaga-
Expel dark energy in a searing blast.
2.Dark Aura-
Rush enemies repeatedly with blade in hand.
3.Dark Break-
Leap into the air and attack enemies from above..
4.Dark Shield- Creates a dark shield to protect him self or partners
5.Dark portals - He keeps going in and out of dark portals and attacks his enemys rapidly.
6. Swordsmanship: A highly skilled swordsman, Riku's competency with the sword, in particular the keyblade, is off the charts.
7. Physical Prowess: A physically powerful person, Riku is able to perform manoeuvres that no normal human can even dream of matching.
8. Eternal Session-Riku can do either alone or with Sora. When alone, its strength is obviously cut in half. Riku begins by slashing multiple times with
Last Saber then blasts away with Dark Canon followed by cutting a swathe with extremely long XIII blades. Then finally, Master Heart, which is done only when Sora is present has their keyblades colliding together to form a spherical explosion.
9.Dark Form: Riku still has the ability to use this form. It is the one exactly from KH1. In this form he gets these skills.
1. Dark Break-Leap into the air and attack enemies from above. releasing dark energy. Only available in Dark Mode.
2. Dark shield - A dark shield forms on his left arm and he uses it in combat. Only dark mode
3. Dark Slash - He slams his keyblades/ shield on the ground and has a dark wave launch right for his opponent. only dark mode.
4. Dual Wield - In this form he uses both of his keyblades. ONLY in dark mode.
