Personality: Aerith is a kind and gentle soul. She is a loving and caring person who enjoys comforting many people. She often concerns herself with another's needs before her own. She enjoys teasing other as well. Of course, her light teasing is a gentle one that often bring a smile to the other's face as well. She has the rare ability to make nearly anyone smile within one sentence. Aerith is a very forgiving woman, hardly holding a grudge against anyone. When she does, though, it is not a good thing. She holds no tolerance towards those who tr and hurt those who are precious to her. Her temper is seldom used, and most see her as a sweet and kind-hearted young woman.

Aerith is a rather stubborn young woman as well. She will often take matters into her own hands if nothing is getting down. This tenacity of hers had lead to her death unfortunately, but Aerith does not view this as bad. Her stubborn streak had saved the Planet, and that is all that mattered. Aerith often acts as a Guide as well towards others. She can pull many people out of sadness and always offer them some sort of hope. She often sees the good and people, and tries to use that to help. Her gentle nature often helps others to see the good in themselves as well.

Aerith gave many people hope when they thought there was none, and would light up a room with a simple smile. Her welcoming attitude, and her stubborn nature won over many. Aerith is a charismatic woman as well. She is hardly ever shy, and find little intimidating about large crowds. Aerith is a person hardly anyone is able to forget.

Equipment: Aerith carries a staff with her at all times. Being the true sense of a mage, a staff is the perfect weapon for her to channel her magic energy.

Combat Style: Aerith is a long range fighter, using magic to fight. Her physical attacks are rather weak, and she uses magic to fight at a distance. With close combat, Aerith is not as well suited, and she can be overpowered without too much of an effort.

Limit Breaks:
Healing Wind: A gentle wind summoned to heal and recover her team's wounds.

Seal Evil: A spell that casts Stop and Silence on all enemies to weaken them.

Breath of Earth: A spell that cures all negative status effects on her allies.

Fury Brand: This spell gives her allies full limit bars, allowing them to perform their Limit Breaks and gives them Fury Status.

Planet Protector: A limit break that gives all allies temporary invincible status against enemies.

Pulse of Life: This limit break fully restores all HP and MP, and heals all negative status effects on allies.

Great Gospel: This limit break is Aerith's greatest one. It heals all HP and MP, as well as giving her allies temporary invincibility against all physical and magical attacks.

History: Aerith was born to Professor Gast and Ifalna in the Icicle Inn. Her mother was the last full Cetra, while her father was a scientist for Shinra. Her father had been sent to interview Ifalna, and they had fallen in love after some time. Professor Gast gave up his place at Shinra, instead wanting to protect his wife and child. Barely a month old, Hojo had tracked down Professor Gast and killed him. He then abducted Ifalna and Aerith, taking both back to Shinra to conduct experiments upon the Cetra, in hope of finding the Promised Land. For several years, experiments were conducted upon Ifalna. Somehow, Infalna was able to take Aerith and escape Shinra. The weakened woman managed to take them aboard a train and get into the Slums of Midgar.

Ifalna, tired and weak, was left upon the station, with Aerith beside her. That was when Elmyra Gainsborough had happened upon them both. Iflana entrusted her daughter to Elmyra, able to die in peace knowing that her daughter was in safe hands. Elmyra took in Aerith as her own daughter, even giving her the last name of Gainsborough. The two became as close as any mother and daughter. Aerith grew up in a happy home, but it was not long before Shinra had found her once again. As the last Cetra, they would not give her up without a fight. Shinra kept a close eye on Aerith, trying to coax her to come back with them to Shinra, but she never did.

Aerith had discovered the old Church in the Midgar Slums, where she saw that some flowers grew. She had claimed the pace as her own, and began to plant and help the flowers to flourish. Due to her close awareness with the lifestream, she helped them to grow without any trouble. It was also hear where she could here her mother's voice the most. Aerith was able to listen to the voices of the planet, and communicate back. It was the place where she could be the closest with her real mother. As Aerith grew older, she would one day encounter a member of the infamous SOLDIER. Zack Fair was his name, and he had crashed through the roof of her church. The two had become close rather quickly, and fell in love with the other.

Aerith went on her first date with Zack, sharing with him her dislike of SOLDIER, only to find out he was one himself. She merely commented that he had beautiful eyes. Aerith and Zack had continued to see each other, but Zack was eventually killed four years after they had met, trying to escape Shinra. This event would lead to her eventual meeting with Cloud Strife. She had first meant the supposed SOLDIER after a reactor explosion, selling him a flower for one gil. Aerith had thought nothing of the young man, but she would shortly meet him again. He had come crashing down the roof of her church, much like Zack had. Aerith soon befriended Cloud, hiring him as her bodyguard in exchange for one date. Cloud helped her to escape the Turks of Shinra, but it was not enough. Aerith was soon kidnapped by Shinra, and was needed to be saved by Cloud once again.

Aerith was soon rescued by Cloud and the rest of AVALANCHE. They had all managed to escape Midgar relatively unscathed, and their true journey had begun. Aerith would travel with Cloud, and would grow uneasy each day she heard the screams of the Planet. As she learned of the atrocities of Sephiroth, she became more resolute to find a way to save the Planet. And the answer laid in the simple materia her mother had given her before she died. The White Materia was the answer that would stop the summoning of Meteor. So, after the events in the Temple of the Ancients, Aerith would take off from the group. She had left and ran deep in the Sleeping Forest. The Forgotten City was her destination, where Aerith would pray for the coming of Holy.

Aerith had found the alter to where she would pray. Her head knelt, and her hands held before her, she prayed to the Planet for the usage of Holy to stop Meteor and save them all. When Cloud and the others found her, she was still praying. Aerith had lifted her head, and seeing Cloud, she smiled gently at him. No sooner, would her death happen. Impaled by the villain she had tried to stop, Aerith slumped to the ground, knowing she had succeeded in calling Holy, even if it had meant her death. Her Cetra blood allowed her to keep her conscious mind, even in the Lifestream, where she would meet with all those who had died. She eventually met Zack within the Lifestream as well, happy to find that he was at peace as well.

After the final battle, when Meteor had come had almost overcome Holy, it was Aerith who had summoned the Lifestream to battle against Meteor and save the world. Content that the world was saved and the danger gone, Aerith was free to rest in peace. Of course, nothing was ever that easy. Two years later, a threat had once again popped up. Aerith would make herself shown several times to Cloud as a Spiritual Guide to him. She never once blamed him for her death. Aerith would once again save her friends. She had used her Gospel limit to cure the Geostigma. Using the holy water that ran beneath the church, she had cured them all. Appearing before Cloud in one last vision, she assured him everything was alright now. And with that message sent, Aerith had walked off into the Lifestream once more with Zack, keeping watch on all her friend.

In the realm of Kingdom Hearts, Aerith had been given another chance at life, a shance to make up for all she had lost when she had sacrificed herself for the Planet. Aerith had awoken in the world of Radiant Garden, before it had been taken over by the Heartless. It reminded her of home, and Aerith had taken her second chance at life and made a home upon the comely world. It would not be too long after that the Heartless would attack. Able to escape the world thanks to Cid, she would soon find herself on the world of Traverse Town. Aerith and the others would soon work tirelessly to try and find a way to reclaim Radiant Garden.

They soon would be able to, thanks to a boy named Sora. After Sora had defeated Ansem and freed the world from darkness, they would all reclaim Radiant Garden and help to rebuild it. Aerith was joyous to see her home once again, and even through all the reackage it could be rebuilt. With the Restoration Committee started, Aerith and the others would soon tirelessly begin to rebuild Radiant Garden.[/size]
